Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-258 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF LEASE AT 6701 HWY 10 NW <br />(GODS KINGDOM MINISTRY) <br />WHEREAS, God's Kingdom Ministry, a non-profit corporation organized under the laws <br />of Minnesota (the "Tenant") and the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "Landlord") entered into a <br />lease dated December 9, 2024 to lease the Westerly 4,820 square feet of the office area and parking <br />area located at 6701 Hwy NW, Ramsey MN (the "Lease"); and <br />WHEREAS, the term of the Lease is from February 1, 2025 — January 31, 2026 and the <br />monthly rent is $3,879.75; and <br />WHEREAS, the Tenant is current on Rent and the City holds a security deposit to ensure <br />the Premises are returned to the City in satisfactory condition; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has listed 6701 Hwy 10 NW on MNCAR per the terms <br />of the RALF Agreement and having less or one tenant is helpful for the sale of the building; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Tenant has requested a one -month early cancellation of the lease <br />(December 31, 2025) as presented in the Termination of Lease Agreement drafted by the <br />Landlord's Property Manager, Premier Commercial Properties; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City will not incur any financial penalty or shortfall by terminating the <br />lease early as all lease proceeds are paid to the RALF program per the terms of the RALF Loan <br />Agreement and only administrative costs are able to be retained by the City; and, <br />WHEREAS, God's Kingdom Ministry is active and in good standing with the <br />Minnesota Secretary of State Office as of October 22, 2025 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: <br />1. that the Mayor and City Administrator, are hereby authorized to execute the Termination <br />of Lease Agreement with God's Kingdom Ministry on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
