<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-245 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CIVIL LEGAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH ECKBERG <br />LAMMERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a Request for Proposal process from July 9 – <br />August 1, 2025; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received six qualified proposals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, concluding interviewing all six firms, City Council directed its City <br />Administrator to negotiate a contract with Attorney Amanda Johnson, of Eckberg Lammers. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) Approves the Civil Legal Services Contract with Eckberg Lammers to begin November <br />1, 2025. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peters, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
