Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-263 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br />WATERFRONT WATER -PLAY MASS GRADING, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-62 <br />WHEREAS, on October 28th City Council approved H+U Construction as the <br />construction manager for The Waterfront water -play park project, and acknowledged that staff and <br />H+U would seek quotes for the mass grading of the site to begin as soon as November 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, requests for quotes were solicited from three (3) contractors known to <br />responsibly provide such services; and <br />WHEREAS, three (3) quotes were received as follows; and <br />Contractor Total Quote <br />Sauter & Sons Excavating, Inc. $57,500.00 <br />Meyer Contracting, Inc. $85,080.00 <br />Veit & Company, Inc. $106,120.00 <br />Engineer's Estimate $120,00.00 <br />WHEREAS, Sauter & Sons Excavating provided the lowest responsible quote in the <br />amount of $57,500 and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said <br />proposer for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
