These conditions are intended to clarify Mn/DOTs ability to reimburse the City of Ramsey for the purchase of the subject property should the bridge crossing project move forward in this location. Reimbursement would likely only occur once the project has been programmed and has entered into the appropriate phase of the project development process where right-of-way acquisition activities would occur. The proactive efforts the City of Ramsey is making to preserve land needed for future transportation improvements along the TH 10 corridor are extremely .. _ _ important to Mn/DOT and to the viability of projects in this area as a whole. Your forward thinking approach will save a significant amount of dollars in future right- of--way costs for the city and state, and I commend your efforts.
