City Council Highlights - November 10 <br />Presentation <br />Pertaining to Variances. At the September 23 work <br />session, the City Council directed staff to prepare a Code <br />? is regular City Council meeting began with two <br />Amendment to modify Chapters 2 and 106 regarding the <br />presentations. ? e ? rst was a swearing-in ceremony for <br />approval of variances. Currently, the Planning Commission <br />Patrol Offi cer Jesse Overlie. <br />holds public hearings and has the authority to approve or <br />? e second was the 2025 Happy Days Recap <br />deny variance requests. Appeals are then referred to the <br />Presentation, which reviewed the activities at Happy Days <br />City Council. Under the proposed amendment, the City <br />and the number of participants who signed up for the <br />Council would gain approval authority over variances <br />various events. Donations were received from 38 sponsors <br />a? er receiving a recommendation from the Planning <br />totaling almost $38,000; that amount doesn’t include <br />Commission. Appeals of Council decisions would then <br />many in-kind donations.
