<br />Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-08-256 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2006 MIDYEAR BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE CITY'S GNEERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the year 2006, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />revenue and expenditures budgets of the City's General fund for items that were not included in <br />the original budget for December 31, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for financial reporting purposes, amendments to the City's General Fund <br />Budget are to be made in the form of a Budget Amendment Resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to a significant decrease in budgeted building permit revenue, the City <br />needed to amend their General Fund Expenditures to offset this reduction. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total amount of General Fund Expenditures for this midyear amendment <br />totaled $946,888. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the recommendation of the Finance <br />Committee <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
