Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-289 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2026 CITY OF RAMSEY GENERAL FUND <br />OPERATING BUDGET <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the annual budget of the City of Ramsey for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 <br />is hereby adopted for the General Fund as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Revenues: <br />Property Taxes $ 18,209,749 <br />Licenses and Permits 992,850 <br />Intergovernmental Revenues 845,500 <br />Charges for Services 808,700 <br />Fines and Forfeitures 48,000 <br />Other Revenues - <br />Interest Earnings 75,000 <br />Miscellaneous 21,050 <br />Other Financing Sources 1,788,750 <br />Total Revenues $ 22.789.599 <br />Operating and Capital Expenditures: <br />General Government $ 5,773,308 <br />Public Safety 10,317,079 <br />Public Works 3,879,900 <br />Parks and Recreation 2,604,912 <br />Contingency 108,027 <br />Other Financing Uses 106,373 <br />Total Operating and Capital Expenditures $22.789.599 <br />2) That the City Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to <br />the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Monday, December 29,2025. <br />3) That all contractual agreements contained within the 2026 General Fund Budget will be <br />considered ratified. <br />4) That all itemized capital equipment purchases contained within the 2026 General Fund <br />Budget will be considered ratified. <br />
