5. 7. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />12/09/2025 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Strive for high organizational morale and employee retention <br />Title: <br />Authorization to Increase a Part-time Police Records Technician to Full-time <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to approve a change that was discussed and is included within the 2026 budget; the <br />change is to increase a part-time Police Records Technician from 25 hours to 40 hours per week. <br />The work load for police records technicians has increased significantly. Changing this position from part-time to <br />full-time will allow the police records staff to focus more on increased data requests from the public, law <br />enforcement agencies and the attorney's office, as well as processing reports, data entry, permits, criminal <br />investigation checks and communications via phone and email.
