CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />7. 2. <br />12/09/2025 <br />Identify and implement operational efficiencies, cost savings and additional <br />funding sources. <br />Title: <br />Adopt Ordinance #25-12: Amending Chapter 2 and Repealing and Replacing Article VI -Finance; Division <br />3-City Funds; Section 2-306-Establishment of Funds <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Section 7.9 of the City Charter states that a Council shall, by resolution or ordinance, create and abolish funds <br />and shall define which funds are eligible for interfund loans as it may deem necessary and appropriate. <br />The City Funds section of the City Code was last amended in May 2016 by Ordinance #16-05 when the code <br />was being updated through Municode. Since this time, some of the funds listed are currently no longer utilized, <br />their sources and uses need to be updated, and a few funds have been added. <br />Notification: <br />The amended Ordinance was presented at the City Council Council worksession of November 10, 2025.
