C-7 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-12-x;XX RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY NO 2 TO SUNDBLAD CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-31 143RA LANE / SUNFISH LAKE BOULEVARD STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on September I1, 2006, City Council approved plans and specifications for Il' 06- 31 and authorize the solicitation of.bids for this project; and ' WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #06-31, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial pay No 1 to Sundblad Construction in the amount of $58,333.80. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial pay No 2 to Sundblad Construction in the amount of $S,S86.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Sundblad Contraction- for Improvement Project #06-31 in the amount of $S,S86.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the-Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 28, 2006. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
