Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER APPROVING 2007 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTION FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES AND LELS-PATROL AND <br />LELS-PATROL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to offer employees a contribution toward health <br />insurance premiums, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed changes for health insurance contributions are in line <br />with what will be offered to all employee groups, and <br />WHEREAS, Patrol Officers have requested the option of taking compensatory <br />time off in lieu of receiving overtime compensation for certain duties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />1) Authorize the following health insurance contribution for non-union and LELS-Patrol <br />employees: <br />Insurance: 2007: Aware Gold Single: $437.50 VEBA Single: $442.60 <br />2007: Aware Gold Family: $679.00 VEBA Family: $685.00 <br />2) Approve the memorandum of understanding regarding compensatory time off for <br />patrol officers. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28~` day of December, 2006. <br />G:\AdministrationU-IumanResources\Benefits12007\case to appr hlth ins. cont. for non-union and LELS Patrol ees 12-28-06.doc <br />-335- <br />
