<br />Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-283 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF VERTICAL MAN-LIFT FOR WATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, operating and maintaining the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) will require city <br />staff to access equipment, fixtures, pipes, platforms, stairways and walls in the pipe gallery at <br />heights of 20-feet or more above the floor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, using a Skyjack SJ16E vertical mast lift will allow city staff to more <br />efficiently and safely operate and maintain the WTP by avoiding the use of extension-ladders; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff obtained two quotes for a SJ16E vertical mast lift with the lowest quote <br />submitted by Central Equipment Sales in the amount of $14,900. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Engineer/Public Works Director is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />1) <br />quote from Central Equipment Sales for a SJ16E vertical mast lift in the amount of $14,900 <br />for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Stewart, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
