The following is aibrief summary of actions taken by <br />the City Council that may be of interest to the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />Requestfor a Conditional Use Permit to Exce~dSign ~izeRestrictions andfor Multiple Ground <br />Signs on a Single Parcel; Case of Sophia-Ramsey, LLC.The City Council approved the request. <br /> <br />Authorization for Release of the Draft Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for Ramsey <br />Crossings. The City Council authorized the release. of the EA W for Ramsey Crossings for <br />publication by the Environmental Quality BOBJ'd and teviewby other agencies. The draft EA W <br />will be reviewed by the Planning Commission along yviththe preliminary plat and site plan for <br />Ramsey Crossings. <br /> <br />Request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment/Rezoning/Final Plat/Final Site Plan of Northfork <br />Ojjice Condos; Case of St Andrews Investmenf Group, LLC. The City Council granted approval <br />to these cases, with contingencies noted by Staff in the case and the provision of a trail easement <br />on 156th Avenue, if needed. <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat and Site Plan Approval,' Case of Holiday Stationstores. The City Council <br />granted approval to both requests. <br /> <br />Request for Proposals for 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update. The City Council authorized staff <br />to release an RFP to local consultants for assistance with the Comp Plan Update. The City has <br />received $29,000 from Anoka County to help cover theeost of the plan update. <br /> <br />Central Rural Reserve Study. The City Council the final draft of the report and authorized <br />submittal to the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Ramsey Crossings. Staff expects to bring the MastetPlan and a Preliminary Plat for Ramsey <br />Crossings to the Planning Commission at the February meeting.
