Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-09-312 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $20,000 FROM THE LANDFILL TIPPING FEE FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND TO COMPLETE THE WETLANDS FUNCTIONS AND VALUES STUDY. WHEREAS, Westwood Professional Services has submitted a budget supplement for the completion of the Ramsey Wetlands Functions and Values Study; and WHEREAS, At the Environmental Policy Board meeting of September 11, 2006 the EPB recommended that City Council authorize a transfer of funds from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the General Fund to complete the study; and WHEREAS, the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund allows funds to be transferred to the General Fund for costs associated with environmental services; and WHEREAS, City Council authorized a $20,000 transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the General Fund to complete the Wetlands Functions and Values Study. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey has authorized Peterson Environmental Consulting Inc, now known as Westwood Professional Services, to complete the Ramsey Wetlands Functions and Values Study. 2) Funding for the completion of this work will be provided by a transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund to the General Fund in the amount of $20,000. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Strommen Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Olson Councilmember Pearson and the following voted against the same: Councilmember Cook
