<br />Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-09-312 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $20,000 FROM THE LANDFILL <br />TIPPING FEE FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND TO COMPLETE THE WETLANDS <br />FUNCTIONS AND VALUES STUDY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Westwood Professional Services has submitted a budget supplement for the <br />completion of the Ramsey Wetlands Functions and Values Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, At the Environmental Policy Board meeting of September 11, 2006 the <br />EPB recommended that City Council authorize a transfer of funds from the Landfill Tipping Fee <br />Fund to the General Fund to complete the study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund allows funds to be transferred to the General <br />Fund for costs associated with environmental services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council authorized a $20,000 transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee <br />Fund to the General Fund to complete the Wetlands Functions and Values Study. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey has authorized Peterson Environmental <br />Consulting Inc, now known as Westwood Professional Services, to complete the Ramsey <br />Wetlands Functions and Values Study. <br /> <br />2) Funding for the completion of this work will be provided by a transfer from the Landfill <br />Tipping Fee Fund to the General Fund in the amount of $20,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook <br />
