Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING <br />DESIGN SERVICES FOR 2026 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street <br />segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $1,268.50; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-125, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the Ramsey City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-08; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer no longer has the capacity to prepare plans and <br />specifications for 2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements in-house. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders request for proposals for Engineering Design <br />Services for 2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project <br />#26-08. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Buscher, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br />
