Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-009 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR COUNTRYSIDE ESTATES STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-04 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Countryside Estates <br />subdivision as identified within the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the <br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk for topographic survey of the project <br />area in the amount of $14,528.50; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the <br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $15,175.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-138, adopted June 24, 2025, the <br />City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Countryside Estates Street <br />Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-04; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-207, adopted September 9, 2025, a <br />contract was awarded to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for additional Geotechnical services in the <br />amount of $4,930.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-207, adopted September 9, 2025, a <br />contract was awarded to Bolton & Menk, Inc. for additional topographic survey in the amount of $5,464.00; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising <br />for bids for Countryside Estates Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-04. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project #26-04, <br />Countryside Estates Street Reconstructions. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
