5. 6. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />01/13/2026 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br />Title <br />Approve Amending City Council Meeting Schedule for 2026 <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: To amend the meeting schedule for the City Council due to the State Primary election in August falling <br />on the same date as a regular City Council meeting, and to cancel the last regular meeting in December. <br />If approved, the August 11, 2026, City Council meeting will be rescheduled to Monday, August 10, 2026, and the <br />December 22, 2026, meeting will be canceled altogether, as has been done in the past.
