Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-030 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2026 CRACK SEAL IMPROVEMENTS, <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-09 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the bituminous <br />pavement on public streets by sealing cracks on an annual basis; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2026 includes $650,000.00 for street <br />maintenance contracted services, including to crack seal the bituminous pavement on numerous public <br />street segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising <br />for bids for 2026 Crack Seal Improvements, Improvement Project #26-09. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project 926-09, <br />2026 Crack Seal Improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of January, 2026. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />[Type here] <br />
