<br />(5) No Rderne-Air- animal shall be treated cruelly or inhumanely by any person or in violation of Minnesota
<br />state statutes preventing cruelty to animals.
<br />(6) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, any animal taken into custody by an animal control
<br />officer under this chapter may be humanely destroyed and immediately disposed of, at the expense of
<br />the owner, when the animal is suffering and is beyond cure through reasonable care and treatment.
<br />(7) No person shall abandon or Felease neglect any deg, eat, eF et animal witkin the boundaries of the
<br />city.
<br />(8) No person may ride or drive a horse or other animal utilized for transportation after sunset and before
<br />sunrise along or crossing any public way without appropriate lighting or reflectorized clothing.
<br />(9) No person may ride or drive a horse or other animal utilized for transportation in any public park, beach,
<br />golf course or other public property except within the right-of-way of public streets and highways and
<br />areas duly designated by the city as a trail or hitching area.
<br />(10) Persons riding a horse or other animal utilized for transportation or driving a horse-drawn vehicle upon a
<br />public road way shall be subject to those provisions of this Code and state law applicable to the driver of
<br />motor vehicles, except those provisions which by their nature have no application.
<br />(11) Horses or others animal utilized for transportation shall not be ridden or driven in any manner that would
<br />cause undue damage to any hard -surfaced road.
<br />Sec. 10-56. — Nuisances.
<br />No animals of any type may be maintained on any parcel within the city, no matter what size the parcel, if the
<br />maintenance of said animals creates a nuisance as defined in Chapter 30 �r within this chapter.
<br />(1) Animals at large. No person shall permit any horse animal of which they are the owner, caretaker or
<br />custodian to run at large within the city � defined in this chapter.
<br />(2) Noisy animals. It shall be unlawful for any person to own, keep, have in possession, or harbor any deg

<br />makes any other noise continuously for a period of 10 minutes or intermittently for one half hour or
