Building Inspector/Plans Examiner Salary: $39.405- $49.256 Hourly (depending on qualifications) Closing Date: Open Until Filled Join the City of Ramsey's Community Development team and play a key role in ensuring safe, high -quality development throughout our growing City. As a Building Inspector/Plans Examiner, you'll assist the Building Official with plan reviews and inspections for residential and commercial projects, helping ensure compliance with the Minnesota Building Code and applicable City codes. This role combines field inspections, technical review, and customer interaction, making it ideal for someone with construction or inspection experience who enjoys problem -solving and working with the public. Minimum Qualifications: • Valid Minnesota driver's license in good standing • At least one (1) year of building inspections experience or three to five (3-5) years of building construction experience • Basic knowledge of building construction and code requirements • Basic Microsoft Office skills Engineering Technicial II Salary: $33.50- $41.88 Hourly (depending on qualifications) Closing Date: February 16, at 11:59 p.m. Join the City of Ramsey's Engineering team and help support the infrastructure that keeps our community growing. In this strategic role, you'll oversee the planning, design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of public infrastructure. You'll manage improvement projects, review development proposals, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent Ramsey in coordination with state, county, and regional agencies.
