Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-033 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTURAL SERVICES BY LEO A DALY FOR <br />THE COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR THE HISTORIC <br />TOWN HALL/DISCTRICT NO. 28 SCHOOL HOUSE RENOVATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a grant from the Minnesota Historical Society <br />in the amount of $39,500.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the grant monies are for the design and completion of construction <br />documents for the following scope of work: <br /> <br />1. Design and document a concrete path and ADA ramp to the front door; and <br />2. Design and document heating and air conditioner installation; and <br />3. Design and document an ADA historic period bathroom; and <br />4. Assessment of the existing floor beam bearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, three (3) bids were obtained for the completion of said work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 13, 2026 at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the <br />Ramsey City Council approved Leo A Daly to complete said services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Leo A Daly will enter into a contract agreement with the City for the <br />completion of design and preparation of construction documents not to exceed $39,500.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the completion of construction documents will be no later than April 30, <br />2026. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #26-033 approving contractual services by Leo A Daly for the <br />completion of construction documents for the historic town hall/District #28 school house <br />renovations. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />
