Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-10-316 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.4 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02-34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has authority to approve change orders in excess of $10,000 and less than $25,000 with City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the authority to approve change orders of up to $10,000 with City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of$145,000; and WHEREAS, Change Order No.1 was approved by the City Council on October 11,2005; and WHEREAS, Change Order No.2 was approved by the City Council on May 23, 2006; and WHEREAS, Change Order No.3 was approved by the City Council on August 22, 2006; and WHEREAS, the following change orders have been requested and approved by the City Administrator and Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; 1. Electrical modifications at Stair A - $5,150 2. Hardened Air retests - $6,350 3. Glass replacement - $7,000 4. Liquidated Damages including bituminous - ($56,250) NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The above mentioned change orders have been approved.
