<br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-10-326 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND AND FINAL PAYMENT TO GREYSTONE <br />CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PROJECT 04-BLDG-0005 SALT SAND STORAGE <br />BUILDING AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-12-418 on December 13, <br />2005 adopting the City of Ramsey's 2006-2010 Capital Improvement Program with a project <br />entitled "Project 04-BLDG-0005" authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the <br />above referenced work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 25th 2006, the Ramsey City Council passed resolution #06-07-xxx <br />awarding the contract for Project 04-BLDG-0005 Salt Sand Storage Building at the Public Works <br />Campus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public VV orks Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of <br />$126,350.00. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public VV orks Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of <br />$6,650.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council are hereby authorizes partial payment to Greystone Construction <br />Company for the construction of the salt sand storage building in the amount of <br />$6,650.00. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 24, 2006. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-10-326 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
