<br />... ,\."1' <br /> <br />'.,. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-361 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY NO 1 TO SUNDBLAD CONSTRUCTION FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-31143RD LANE / SUNFISH LAKE BOULEVARD <br />STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 11, 2006, City Council approved plans and specifications for IP 06-31 <br />and authorize the solicitation of bids for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #06-31, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed <br />work and recommends partial pay No 1 to Sundblad Construction in the amount of$58,333.80. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Sundblad Contraction for <br />Improvement Project #06-31 in the amount of$58,333.80. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 28, 2006. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-361 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
