<br />\". .{'~.... <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-37\ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE TITTERUD PARK PLAY EQUIPMENT THAT IS <br />TO BE REPLACED, SURPLUS PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Titterud Park's play equipment is in excess of 20-years old and no longer <br />meets certain play equipment guidelines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission developed a Request for Proposals to <br />address the play equipment replacement, and has recommended that St. Croix Recreation's <br />proposal be approved and incorporated within the Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has approved the replacement and purchase of the new play <br />equipment; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That, the existing play equipment within Titterud Park be declared surplus property and that staff <br />is hereby directed to dispose of it in the most fiscally responsible manner possible. Further, that <br />if sold, purchasers must sign a liability waiver, approved by the City Attorney, absolving the City <br />from any liability. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28th day of November, 2006. <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-371 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
