Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-039 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES <br />FOR 2026 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street <br />segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $1,268.50; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-125, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the Ramsey City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-08; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-011, adopted January 13, <br />2026, the Ramsey City Council ordered request for proposals for Engineering Design Services for <br />said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to two (2) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining proposals for the engineering design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the two (2) engineering design services proposals were received and are <br />tabulated below; and <br /> <br />Project Bolton & Menk Hakanson Anderson <br />IP 26-08 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay <br />$25,300.00 $38,500.00 <br />Improvements <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal of Bolton & Menk in the total amount of $25,300.00 for <br />engineering design services in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible <br />proposal for said improvements and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Bolton & Menk for said engineering design services for said improvements <br />for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
