<br />- . <br /> <br />City of Ramsey <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br /> <br />1.3 STUDY PROCESS <br /> <br />The study process included a series of meetings between staff, the Planning Commission, <br />the Economic Development Commission, and the City Council. The process began with a <br />number of land use and transportation alternatives being prepared. These alternatives <br />were turned over to a subcommittee of the Planning Commission for detailed discussion. <br />The discussion returned to the full Planning Commission where it was debated for much of <br />1994. The alternatives were then discussed by the Economic Development Commission. <br />These two commissions arrived at different recommendations regarding which of the <br />alternatives were preferable. Ajoint meeting of the two and the City Council was held. <br /> <br />A public meeting was held before the City Council and comments were accepted. The <br />City Council arrived at its own alternative, which is included as the new Ramsey Land Use <br />Map. <br /> <br />page 1-5 <br />
