Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: e. -/0 RESOLUTION #07-01-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY NO 2 TO EH RENNER AND SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-41 WELLS NO 7 & 8 WHEREAS, on June 27, 2006 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 05-41, - Municipal Wells 7 & 8, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial pay No 1 to EH Renner and Sons, Inc. in the amount of $103,658.02. WHEREAS, Public Works DirectorlPrincipal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial pay No I to EH Renner and Sons, Inc. in the amount of $100,065.40. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to EH Renner and Sons, Inc. for Improvement Project #05-41 in the amount of $100,065.40. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of January 23,2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
