<br />e .,/8 <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07-08 ( BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF STREETS IN THE <br />GREEN VALLEY ESTATES 2ND ADDITION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted December 12, <br />2006, a feasibility study for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #07-08,bituminous overlay of <br />streets in the Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition, more specifically described below: and, <br />177th Lane from T.H.47 to Sodium St <br />178th Lane from Potassium S1. to Sodium St <br />Potassium S1. from 178th Lane to a point 425 ft north <br />Potassium S1. from 177th Lane to 178th Lane <br />Sodium S1. from 177th Lane to 178th Lane <br />Sodium S1. from 178th Lane to a point 200 ft north <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report was provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sea1coating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$65,693. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of <br />February, 2007 in the Council Chambers ofthe Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-0l-XXX <br />Page 1 of2 <br /> <br />-135- <br />
