<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMMENDED FACILITY RENTAL POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey currently has a Facility Rental Policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Facility Use and Rental Policy does not allow For Profit <br />organizations to rent space from the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, allowing For Profit organizations to rent space has an economiC <br />development potential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, rentals by For Profit organizations shall be limited to four (4) reservations <br />per year per organization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, rentals by For Profit organizations shall be limited to the purpose of <br />conducting business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the sale of goods shall not be allowed by For Profit organizations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, adoption of these facility use policies will prevent damage and deterioration <br />of City of Ramsey municipal facilities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE.IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINN:ESOTA; as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Facility Use Rental Policy outlining rental and general use guidelines for <br />outside organizations shall be part of the City of Ramsey administrative policie.s. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember . <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />-149- <br />
