Information <br />regarding the natural resource inventory assessment will be presented to the Council at the next <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Zoning & Recycling Coordinator Anderson indicated the natural resource inventory assessment <br />will require a 6 to 12 month timeframe to complete. <br /> <br /> <br />Ramsey Crossings <br /> <br />asher, LSA Design, provided the following update of the continued negotiations with <br />Robert '1' regarding Amendment #1 of the Exclusive Rights Agreement on the Ramsey <br />Crossings pr .~ <br /> <br />Subsidy and Off-siteJ:mprovements <br />Mr. Lasher indicated ir is asking for a subsidy of $3.35 million as a result of the costs of this <br />project. In the original P, it was asked that Muir provide the City with a cash payment of <br />$5.30 million for off-site ro way improvements. After Muir was selected, it was determined <br />that the actual costs for the off- . e improvements were $3.50 million. Additionally, the City has <br />requested that Anoka County pr . de their typical contribution to help cover these costs of <br />approximately 30%, which in this cas quais approximately $1.35 million. <br /> <br />Mr. Lasher stated in summary, the original sts for off-site improvements of $5.30 million have <br />now been reduced to $2.10 million. To solve uir's request for subsidy, he is proposing that the <br />City reduce Muir's payment for off-site improve nt costs down to $1.75 million. The City will <br />use TIP proceeds to cover the balance of the Off-Sl improvements of $350,000 which are TIP <br />eligible expenses. <br /> <br /> <br />Land Acquisition <br />Mr. Lasher stated at the last City Council work session he w directed to attempt to negotiate a <br />change in the land acquisition process for the project. He met .~ _~uir today and they continue <br />to work towards this goal. He hopes to have this fInalized for the \t Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council and Mr. Lasher discussed the negotiations with Robert Muir. <br /> <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated Council will be given an update r . arding the continued <br />negotiations prior to the next City Council meeting. They may soon b ready to direct the <br />attorneys to begin drafting the development agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested further information regarding the timetable on the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Lasher replied originally MUir would have signed the development agreement by second <br />week in February.
