<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE IN THE E-l EMPLOYMENT DISTRICT BASED ON FINDINGS <br />OF FACT #_, AND DECLARING THE TERMS OF SAME. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RV World, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Permittee", has properly applied <br />to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit (permit) to allow outdoor storage of <br />RV s and/or travel trailers on the property located at 6300 Bunker Lake Blvd NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Tract C Registered Land Survey No. 30, except the west 169.41 feet thereof, together <br />with Tract E of said Registered Land Survey, subject to easement of record, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on January 4, 2007, conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended that the City Council approve the request to store R V's and/or travel <br />trailers outdoors on the Subject Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council met on January 23, 2007 to review the request for an <br />interim use permit to allow for outdoor storage on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.06 (Interim Use Permits) of the Ramsey City <br />Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Permittee is herein allowed to store no more than forty (40) travel trailers and/or <br />recreational vehicles (R V s) in an orderly manner in a confined area not to exceed 160 feet by <br />220 feet located in the southeastern portion of the Subject Property as shown on the attached <br />exhibit. Said area shall be surfaced with either bituminous pavement or concrete no later <br />than October 31, 2007. If not, the Permit shall become void and the Permittee shall vacate <br />the Subject Property by October 31, 2007. <br /> <br />2) This Permit shall commence on the date of City Council approval and shall expire on January <br />23,2009, provided the pavement required in Item #1 has been installed. <br /> <br />3) This Permit shall become null and void in the event site operations permanently cease prior <br />to the expiration date or upon the expiration date, whichever occurs first. All R V s and travel <br />trailers must be removed from the Subject Property within sixty (60) days of the date of <br />termination or by the expiration date of the Permit, whichever occurs first. <br /> <br />-303- <br />
