<br />Given that City Administrator Norman was not able to attend today's meeting, it was determined <br />that the meeting would be rescheduled for December 20, 2006. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that the Transition Team is a sounding board for department heads, <br />not a micro-managing vehicle. He further stated that he believes that the department head who is <br />the project manager needs to have control over the finances (i.e., monitoring contracts and <br />billings). Councilmembers Elvig and Olson stated that they both want Finance Officer Lund to <br />work closely with project managers. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman joined the meeting and presented all attendees with a list of current <br />projects, project descriptions and file locations.
