Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION #26-050
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MSA BUNKER LAKE
<br />BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-01
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Bunker Lake Boulevard between
<br />Armstrong Boulevard and 600 feet west of Jackal Street in 2026 as identified within the 2026-2035 10-
<br />Year Capital Improvement Program: and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #25-081, adopted April 22, 2025, the Ramsey City Council
<br />accepted a proposal from Bolton & Menk, Inc. to prepare final plans and specifications for MSA Bunker
<br />Lake Boulevard Reconstruction, Improvement Project #26-01 for the not -to -exceed amount of
<br />$118,347.00; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-008, adopted on January 13, 2026,
<br />the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Related Services from Bolton & Menk for
<br />said improvements in the amount of $34,091.00; and
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 16 and Friday
<br />January 23, 2026; and
<br />WHEREAS, eight (8) bids were received, opened and tabulated on February 12, 2026, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids;

<br />WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $1,066,382.87 for the total bid for
<br />construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and
<br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted.
