Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-08-271 RESOLUTION AUTHOIRIZING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED (SUBJECT PROPERTY) PROPERTY TO GM LAND COMPANY AS DESCRIBED IN EXIBIT A WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Land Exchange Agreement with GM Land Company, Inc., a Minnesota corporation for the sale of the Subject Property in return for the conveyance to the City of certain other real property and other conditions all as described in the Land Exchange Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City has adopted a Sale Ordinance for the sale of the Subject Property . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Subject Property may be sold and conveyed pursuant to the terms and conditions of the August 22, 2006 Land Exchange Agreement between the City and GM Land Company, Inc., a Minnesota Corporation and that the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute the necessary documents to convey the Subject Property. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gamec, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Cook Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Jeffrey and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Olson Councilmember Strommen
