<br />Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-08-271 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHOIRIZING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED (SUBJECT <br />PROPERTY) PROPERTY TO GM LAND COMPANY AS DESCRIBED IN EXIBIT A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Land Exchange Agreement with GM Land <br />Company, Inc., a Minnesota corporation for the sale of the Subject Property in return for the <br />conveyance to the City of certain other real property and other conditions all as described in the <br />Land Exchange Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has adopted a Sale Ordinance for the sale of the Subject <br />Property . <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Subject Property may be sold and conveyed pursuant to the terms and conditions <br />of the August 22, 2006 Land Exchange Agreement between the City and GM Land <br />Company, Inc., a Minnesota Corporation and that the City's Mayor and City <br />Administrator are authorized to execute the necessary documents to convey the Subject <br />Property. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gamec, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />
