Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-073 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HOMETOWN HERO OUTDOORS <br />APPLICATION TO CONDUCT OFF -SITE GAMBLING AT ADRENALINE SPORTS <br />CENTER <br />WHEREAS, Hometown Hero Outdoors has submitted an application to conduct <br />gambling events — pull -tabs at the Adrenaline Sports Center on October 24 and October 25, <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br />application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the application to conduct off -site <br />gambling for Hometown Hero Outdoors at Adrenaline Sports Center 8310 147th Lane, <br />Ramsey. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the loth day of March, 2026. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
