Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-074 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR SERENITY AT RIVERS EDGE <br />WHEREAS, Rivers Edge Development, LLC, hereafter referred to as "Applicant," properly <br />applied for Final Plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br />Tract C, Registered Land Survey Number 119, except the East 210 feet thereof, as <br />measured at right angle to the East line of said Tract, except road, subject to <br />easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />-or upon recording of the Serenity at Rivers Edge final plat - <br />Lots 1-2, Block 1 and Outlot A, Serenity at Rivers Edge <br />(the `Subject Property'); and <br />WHEREAS, the Environmental Policy Board reviewed the natural resources aspects of the <br />project at their February 9, 2026 meeting and recommended approval contingent upon the Applicant <br />submitting a Tree Inventory and Preservation Plan for consideration by the City of Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing and reviewed the Sketch Plan and <br />Site Plan on February 26, 2026, and recommended approval of the project, with contingencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Final Plat at their March 10, 2026 meeting. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Final Plat for Serenity at Rivers Edge in <br />accordance with relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br />a) Compliance with staff review comments. <br />b) Approval of the Stormwater Management Plan by the Lower Rum River Watershed Management <br />Organization. <br />c) Review and approval as to legal form by the City Attorney of the Final Plat. <br />d) Review and approval of a Site Plan per the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA) Overlay <br />District requirements. <br />e) Execution of a Development Agreement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
