Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION #26-065
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FLINTWOOD HILLS
<br />2ND & 3STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-05
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Flintwood Hills 2nd
<br />& 3' subdivisions as identified within the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement Program; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk Anderson for topographic survey of the
<br />project area in the amount of $3,803.50; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical
<br />survey of the project area in the amount of $6,825.00; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-139, adopted June 24, 2025, the
<br />City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Flintwood Hills 2"d 3 & ra
<br />Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-05,
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-029, adopted January 27, 2026, the
<br />City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said
<br />improvements in the amount of $43,110.00; and
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 30 and Friday
<br />February 6, 2026; and
<br />WHEREAS, nine (9) bids were received, opened and tabulated on March 3, 2026, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids;
<br />and

<br />WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $792,282.86 for the total bid for
<br />construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and
<br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
