That at the August 22,2006, FC meeting staffwas directed to work with Mr. Jones <br />to obtain further information regarding participation from Connexus Energy <br />regarding their liability pertaining to the high water bill. <br /> <br />22 That Connexus Energy was willing to take no responsibility towards the $6,000 bill. <br />Comment was made by Connexus that the City can recoup through higher water rates <br />to City residents. <br /> <br />23 That the Finance Committee made the recommendation at its September 11, 2006, <br />meeting, to set the homeowner's responsibility at $2,000 as the homeowner has taken <br />responsibility for the fact that she was not aware that the irrigation system should have <br />been winterized. <br /> <br />24. That the City is not taking responsibility for the irrigation system not having been <br />winterized. <br /> <br />24.
