Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-074 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR SERENITY AT RIVERS EDGE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rivers Edge Development, LLC, hereafter referred to as “Applicant,” <br />properly applied for Final Plat approval of the following described property located in the City of <br />Ramsey: <br /> <br />Tract C, Registered Land Survey Number 119, except the East 210 <br />feet thereof, as measured at right angle to the East line of said Tract, <br />except road, subject to easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />-or upon recording of the Serenity at Rivers Edge final plat- <br /> <br />Lots 1-2, Block 1 and Outlot A, Serenity at Rivers Edge <br /> <br /> (the ‘Subject Property’); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Environmental Policy Board reviewed the natural resources aspects of <br />the project at their February 9, 2026 meeting and recommended approval contingent upon the <br />Applicant submitting a Tree Inventory and Preservation Plan for consideration by the City of <br />Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing and reviewed the Sketch <br />Plan and Site Plan on February 26, 2026, and recommended approval of the project, with <br />contingencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Final Plat at their March 10, 2026 meeting. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Final Plat for Serenity at Rivers Edge <br />in accordance with relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />a) Compliance with staff review comments. <br />b) Approval of the Stormwater Management Plan by the Lower Rum River Watershed <br />Management Organization. <br />c) Review and approval as to legal form by the City Attorney of the Final Plat. <br />d) Review and approval of a Site Plan per the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area <br />(MRCCA) Overlay District requirements. <br />e) Execution of a Development Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
