Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-073 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HOMETOWN HERO OUTDOORS <br />APPLICATION TO CONDUCT OFF-SITE GAMBLING AT ADRENALINE SPORTS <br />CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Hometown Hero Outdoors has submitted an application to conduct <br />gambling events – pull-tabs at the Adrenaline Sports Center on October 24 and October 25, <br />2026; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br />application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the application to conduct off-site <br />th <br />gambling for Hometown Hero Outdoors at Adrenaline Sports Center 8310 147 Lane, <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
