<br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-067 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2026 <br />PAVEMENT REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2026 includes $650,000.00 for street <br />maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public <br />street segments in support of the City’s Pavement Management Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-031, adopted January 27, <br />2026, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 30 and <br />Friday February 6, 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one (1) bid was received, opened and tabulated on March 3, 2026, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement <br />for bids; and <br /> <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />Corrective Asphalt Material LLC $312,307.06 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bid of Corrective Asphalt Material in the amount of $312,307.06 for the <br />total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and <br />specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be <br />and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
