Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-067 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2026 PAVEMENT REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-10 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2026 includes $650,000.00 for street maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public street segments in support of the City’s Pavement Management Program; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-031, adopted January 27, 2026, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 30 and Friday February 6, 2026; and WHEREAS, one (1) bid was received, opened and tabulated on March 3, 2026, and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids; and Contractor Total Bid Corrective Asphalt Material LLC $312,307.06 WHEREAS, the bid of Corrective Asphalt Material in the amount of $312,307.06 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
