<br />Police Chief Way stated Anthony Bridges Damico, Michael Aaron Gellart, and Heather Dawn <br />Damico, known as D & G Tavern, d/b/a Jacobs Tavern, have properly applied for an on-sale, and <br />Sunday intoxicating liquor license and optional 2:00 a.m. license at 14077 St. Francis Boulevard <br />NW in Ramsey. This is the current site of Jacobs Tavern. This is not a request for a new <br />business; it is the sale of a current business. Mr. Way advised the background investigation has <br />been completed and everything was found to be in order. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised the actual name of the business is Jacobs Tavern of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Citizen InDut <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Jeffrey, Elvig, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7: 18 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Joel Schauer stated there has been a transfer of assets. He will still be involved; the new <br />owner is Mr. Tony Damico. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked if the establishment will now be open until 2:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Schauer responded in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked how the shared parking is working for this site. <br /> <br />Mr. Schauer replied 20 spots were just added in the front on the northwest side and 8 spots added <br />in the back; this seems to have helped. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to approve an on-sale <br />and Sunday intoxicating liquor license and optional 2 a.m. license application for D & G Tavern, <br />Inc. d/b/a Jacobs Tavern of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Cook, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Council!
