The <br />finished hot asphalt mix produced on site is <br />used on local road and construction projects <br />due to the rnabihty to haul it long distances <br />before it cools. Additionally, the site takes in <br />concrete and asphalt recycle products for use in <br />new asphalt. At the Ramsey Plant, up to 35% of <br />recycled asphalt pavement is incorporated into <br />new asphalt mix. These materials come from <br />local homeowners, businesses and roads <br />projects as these groups upgrade and enhance <br />their properties, adding to the continued <br />investment in the Ramsey community.
