EDA BUSINESS <br />4.01: Improving the Image of Ramsey Alo1e Highway 10 Corridor Plan (Presentation) <br />Planning Manager Larson presented e staff report. <br />Commissioner Bauer asked if the City or County would a ve funds available to assist businesses <br />with a planning budget for the updates and repairs. <br />Planning Manager La y' that would depe ated't if the items are things the <br />property owner sho e been doing, they should p.ave nning for that, and the City will <br />not have a program to subsidize a lack of normal property mainte ance. He stated that if businesses <br />want to connect to utilities, there could be programs/funds available to assist with that. He noted <br />that a sign and awning program is available for restaurants. He sta <br />ecause th <br />wel <br />er Sullivan provided additional information on the EDA revolving <br />usedrtain scopes including renovation and expansions for <br />at war they can try to work with property owners, they also <br />re a number of property owners along the highway who have <br />d the City does not want to be in the situation where it is <br />ve chosen not to maintain their property. He noted that EDA <br />way 10 businesses for business visits as well. <br />Member Riley reiterated that the Council wants this to feel gentle for the businesses. He stated <br />that the City made accommodations on things such as paving a parking lot when they were not <br />sure whether the businesses were going to remain after the highway project. He noted that the <br />RALF properties also could not be improved, but now that the highway project is completed, it is <br />time to enforce the rules that did not make sense to enforce during the project. <br />5.
