Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-03-055 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY LIMITED USE PERMIT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A PEDESTRIAN TRAIL IN THE <br />RIGHT- OF -WAY OF TRUNK HIGHWAY #10 WEST OF LLAMA STREET, AND <br />CITY LIMITS WITH SHERBURNE COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is a political subdivision, organized and existing under <br />the laws of the State of Minnesota; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has approved a plan to construct <br />a pedestrian trail in the right -of way of Trunk Highway 10; and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation requires a <br />Limited <br />Use Permit for the construction and utilization of said pedestrian trail. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby enters into a Limited Use Permit <br />with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes: <br />To construct, operate and maintain a pedestrian trail within the right- of, way of Trunk <br />Highway 10 of the State of Minnesota between Llama Street and the Ramsey/Elk River <br />border. The City of Ramsey shall construct, operate and maintain said trail in accordance <br />with the Limited Use Permit granted by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same:. <br />None <br />EXI-IIBIT B <br />
