Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-080 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS, <br />GEOTECHNICAL EVALUATIONS AND UTILITY TESTING FOR 2027 PAVEMENT <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Deerwood subdivision, Hall -Anderson Acres subdivision, <br />Oakwood Hills subdivision, Rambosek Red Oak Estate subdivision, Sorteberg's 6`1' subdivision, <br />Windsorwood subdivision, Windemere Woods 1st & 2nd subdivision, Magnesium Street within Section 26 <br />Unplatted, 142nd Avenue between Saint Francis Boulevard (TH 47) and Xkimo Street, and Juniper Ridge <br />Drive between Roanoke Street and 156th Lane are proposed to be reconstructed in 2027; and <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Brookfield subdivision, Estates of Silver Oaks subdivision, <br />Rivers Bend subdivision, Rivers Bend 2nd subdivision, Rivers Bend Plaza subdivision, Rhinestone Street <br />between E. Ramsey Parkway and Bunker Lake Boulevard (CSAH 116) and between Veterans Drive and <br />Sunwood Drive, Sunwood Drive between Armstrong Boulevard (CSAH 83) and Zeolite Street and between <br />Rhinestone Street and Ramsey Boulevard (CR 56), Veterans Drive between Zeolite Street and Rhinestone <br />Street, and Zeolite Street between Sunwood Drive and Veterans Drive are proposed to be milled and <br />overlaid in 2027; and <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Itasca Heights subdivision are proposed to be converted from <br />existing gravel road section to a bituminous pavement section in 2027; and <br />WHEREAS, topographic surveys, geotechnical evaluations, televising of sanitary and storm <br />sewer, and leak testing of watermain is required to accurately evaluate and design proposed 2027 Pavement <br />Management Program projects; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders the City Engineer to request proposals for said services. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th <br />day of March, 2026. <br />
