Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-081 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 1 TO H+U CONSTRUCTION <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-58; THE WATERFRONT WATERPLAY PARK <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-042, adopted February 10, <br />2026, the proposal from H+U Construction to perform competitive bidding, and organized the <br />project costs and schedule as a guaranteed maximum price and contract amendment submittal of <br />3,624,184 for Improvement Project #25-58; The Waterfront Waterplay Park Improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, as of March 24, 2026, $0.00 has been paid to date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Damon Farber Landscape Architecture has reviewed the work to date for <br />conformity with the plans and specifications, and the city's Parks & Asst. Public Works <br />Director affirms the work was satisfactorily completed and recommends partial payment <br />No. 1 to H+U Construction of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for said project, in the amount of <br />$70,004.24, less the Total Retainage of $3,500.21, for an Amount Due this Application of <br />$66,504.03. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 1 to H+U Construction of <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota for Improvement Project #25-58, The Waterfront Waterplay Park <br />Improvement in the amount of $70,004.24, less the Total Retainage of $3,500.21, for an <br />Amount Due this Application of $66,504.03. <br />2) The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this payment. <br />3) The total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payments of bills <br />for the date of March 24, 2026. <br />4) The City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
