Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-084 <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br />Union, on the City's website, on the City's Facebook, on the Highway 10 sign and via the City's <br />email notification system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 17, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, Per Minnesota Statue 469.095, the Mayor appoints members to the <br />Economic Development Authority with approval from the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following re -appointments to <br />the boards and commissions: <br />Environmental Policy Board <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />Planning Commission <br />Melissa Fetterley <br />Shane Bennett <br />Randy Bauer <br />4-year full term <br />4-year full term <br />4-year full term <br />WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following new appointments to <br />the boards and commissions: <br />Economic Development Authority <br />Environmental Policy Board <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />Planning Commission <br />Planning Commission <br />Planning Commission <br />Cheryal Hills <br />Daniel Payne <br />Laura Moore <br />Bradley Cochrane <br />Layee Sanoe <br />Michael Allshouse <br />6-year full term <br />4-year full term <br />1-year partial term <br />4-year full term <br />2-year partial term <br />1-year partial term <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #26-084 to appoint and re -appoint board and commissioners, <br />as follows: <br />o Economic Dev. Authority: Cheryal Hills to a 6-year full term from 04 01-26 to 03-31- <br />32 <br />o Environmental Policy Board: Melissa Fetterley to a 4-year full term from 04-01-26 to <br />03-31-30 and Daniel Payne to a 4-year full term from 04-01-26 to 03-31-30 <br />o Park and Recreation Commission: Shane Bennett to a 4-year full term from 04-01-26 <br />to 03-31-30 and Laura Moore to a 1-year partial term from 04-01-26 to 03-31-27 <br />
