WHEREAS, the minimum grant amount is $5,000 and the maximum grant amount <br />is $75,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the deadline to submit an application for the 2026-2028 grant cycle is April <br />17, 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, grant recipients will be notified by the Metropolitan Council in <br />approximately May 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey must provide a twenty percent match of the <br />granted amount. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to apply for Water Efficiency <br />Grant funds for the 2026-2028 cycle in an amount of $14,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution #26-092 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />
